Handshake: "Brief, Warm, Firm"
Before starting RW, I could not really imagine what kind of class would be like. Since the name of this class is Research Writing, I was thinking about studying some writing methods (if so, I probably be bored).
So I was a little bit
surprised beginning class with learning handshake, but learning not
only theoretical, but also practical things are worth for me because
leadership is not something we just learn, something that we can apply on a
daily basis. Learning 3 key points of handshake "Brief, Warm, Firm", I
was shocked I did not understand how to shake hands, and the importance of it which good handshake gives a good impression to others and vice versa as Ken said. Including me, Japanese tend to bow and do not really shake hands when meeting people (maybe it has been changing today though). Therefore, everything was new for me and very striking. I hope I could acquire good handshake and be able to apply it when I have a chance from now on.

Well, first of all, the good handshake pic is really cute!

I really want to make this class a chance to change something, so that I can be a better speaker, oh, and a good hand shaker as well!
